Pakistan captain Salman Butt has rated the England team as relatively better opponents than the Australians.

Butt said that the series against England will be a lot tougher, and every player will have to raise the level of his game.

"I think England are better than Australia. Each member of their team knows what is demanded from them and they are better-equipped to deal with the playing surfaces," a newspaper quoted Butt, as saying.

"Australia is an attacking team and as such their batsmen offer opportunities to the opponent bowlers. On the other hand, English batsmen know well the demands of these wickets. They try to give bowlers minimum chances while playing within their limitations," he added.

He further praised the Pakistan bowling attack, and said that they have got the ability to bowl out the finest batting team in the world.

"No matter how tough the opposition is, our bowling attack has the capacity to deal with it," he added.

Pakistan will four Tests, two Twenty20 and five one-day internationals against England.
